My name is Daniel Chappuis, I was born in Switzerland in 1987 and I am currently living near Lausanne. I have completed a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in Computer Science at CPLN in Neuchâtel in 2005. Then, I have done the Special Mathematics Course (CMS) in order to enter the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne where I got my B.Sc degree in Computer Science in 2009. I graduated in 2011 with a M.Sc in Computer Science from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL).
I work as a software engineer in a company that provides interactive solutions for marketing, education and more. I am also the author of ReactPhysics3D, a 3D open source physics library written in C++. I am specialized in 3D computer graphics.
My fields of interest are Rendering and Physically-based Animation. Moreover, I practice baseball and I am also a gymnastics instructor.
